Following his epic 1,000km Bikes to Billund ride our guy James Pegrum attended the epic Skærbæk Fan Weekend at the eponymous Danish town. In doing so he ticked off our second international show of the year - that's right folks, we're going global (assuming Brexit doesn't make it prohibitively difficult...)!
Anyway, the Fan Weekend is one of the world's biggest LEGO shows and was attended by over 500 fans from over 25 different countries, and of course, their LEGO models! It was unusual for us to be there with one of the smallest models, but to give us credit, James did have to cycle there, so big models weren't really possible! What he did unveil was a small part of a recently completed project on the kinds and queens of England and the United Kingdom of Great Britain - a project that we will have more news on soon! James said: "Following the ride to Billund, getting to go to Skærbæk was an amazing end to an incredible trip! There were absolutely loads of highlights, but it was especially nice to meet new faces, such as Mark Ericson, Deborah Higdon and Søren Johansen whose work I've always loved. Another thing was the quality of the models, there were so many good builds!" Here is just a small taste of the models on display!
